Dan Khatri
PRESIDENT
Dan Khatri is the founding President of TDK Construction Company. Dan founded TDK in 1993 and has since established the company as a highly reputable small - to - medium scale construction company in Houston, exemplified by over 500 completed projects in Houston and the surrounding areas. Under Dan’s leadership, TDK’s diverse portfolio covers hotels, multifamily, offices, warehouse, church’s, community centers, banks, libraries, doctor’s offices, schools and religious centers, with projects ranging from $300K to $10 million in revenue.
Dan has over 50 years of experience in civil engineering, field supervision, inspection, management, estimating and design. Prior to starting TDK, he worked as a lead Project Manager & Superintendent at Spaw - Glass Construction for 18 years. There, he directed large scale projects including the construction of the Austin Convention Center, Park Plaza Hospital, Klein High School, One Commerce Green, Keegan’s Bayou Waste Water Treatment Plant and many more. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and holds a Professional Engineering License from the State of Texas.
Tina Khatri
VICE PRESIDENT
Tina Khatri is the Vice President of TDK Construction Company. She started with the company in 2008 and brought in business, finance, and accounting experience. By introducing new processes in back - office, project bidding, as well as construction project management, Tina has raised the operational excellence at TDK. This has directly resulted in increasing the company’s revenues by threefold and created a solid brand for TDK in Houston. Under the 14-year tutelage of Dan Khatri, Tina has managed and successfully executed well over 50 construction projects that range from a 5-story, 125 room hotel to several McDonald’s to bank buildings and community centers.
Prior to joining TDK, Tina worked in business consulting for 4 years at Huron Consulting. She holds a degree in Finance and a minor in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, Red McCombs School of Business.
